As part of activities marking the Eid-ul-Adha holidays, the Lagos State Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende (RAK), commissioned a newly constructed public toilet at Owode Market in Badagry-West Local Council Development Area.
The project, aimed at addressing pressing sanitation needs within the market, was made possible through a donation by Friends of Dinna Harake Nazzal. The initiative was facilitated by Hon. Ogunlende, through his Real Acts of Kindness (RAK) Development Foundation, a platform through which the commissioner has continued to channel social welfare projects to underserved communities.
The new facility is expected to improve sanitary conditions for traders and visitors to the bustling Owode Market, providing a safer and cleaner environment for daily commercial activities.

During the commissioning, Ogunlende reiterated his dedication to improving the quality of life of underserved people, emphasizing his personal and professional drive to uplift communities through meaningful projects.
He further assured attendees of his commitment to community-focused interventions, supporting grassroots development through direct social initiatives.
The event drew a cheerful crowd of market stakeholders and community leaders, many of whom applauded the timely intervention in improving public sanitation in the area.

In a show of unity and celebration, Hon. Ogunlende also hosted an Eid-ul-Adha party in his hometown in Badagry, where people gathered in large numbers to mark the occasion and celebrate with the commissioner.
