Speaking through the Head of the Media Unit at the EFCC Academy, Assistant Commander Chidimma Amanambu, Olukoyede made the appeal during an excursion by students of Nobel Heights Academy, Karu, to the Commission’s training facility in Karu, Abuja, on Wednesay, June 25, 2025.

The interactive session aimed to instill the values of accountability and moral responsibility in the students at an early age. The EFCC team emphasized that youth engagement is key in the broader fight against economic crimes.

During the visit, Deputy Superintendent, Angel Israel delivered a presentation on the Commission’s roles, the laws it enforces, various categories of financial crimes, and their corresponding penalties. She also highlighted some of the major achievements recorded by the EFCC in recent years.

The students were later taken on a tour of the EFCC Academy’s facilities, where they were received by the Acting Commandant, Mr. Joseph Ogwiji. The visit concluded with a group photograph and an exchange of goodwill messages.

The excursion was part of the Commission’s ongoing public engagement efforts aimed at promoting a culture of transparency among the younger generation.
