A nurse and a teacher returning from South Africa landed immediate employment through the Omega Power Ministry (OPM), marking a fresh start in Nigeria.

The development was disclosed on today in a statement by the Founder and General Overseer of Omega Power Ministry, Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, following his visit to the estate housing the returnees.

Chinyere said one of the beneficiaries, a Registered Nurse who had worked at a major hospital in South Africa before leaving the country, was offered immediate employment after identifying herself as a Registered Midwife during the visit.

“One of the South African returnees, who is a Registered Nurse (RN) and previously worked at a major hospital in South Africa before being forced to leave, has today, 20th July 2026, received instant employment after introducing herself as a Registered Midwife (RM) during my visit to the Free Estate,” he said.

The cleric also disclosed that another returnee, who previously worked as a teacher in South Africa, had been employed to teach in one of OPM’s tuition-free schools.

“Also, another returnee who was a teacher in South Africa has been given automatic employment as a teacher in one of our 43 Free Schools,” Chinyere stated.

The latest development follows OPM’s ongoing support for Nigerian families returning from South Africa, with the ministry providing free accommodation and other forms of assistance to eligible beneficiaries.
