The Nigeria Police Force has called on members of the public to report any incidents of misconduct or harassment by its officers as part of ongoing efforts to improve public service and ensure the protection of citizens.

In a public message, the Force acknowledged that occasional conflicts may arise between officers and members of the community. It encouraged Nigerians not to remain silent when faced with inappropriate behaviour from law enforcement personnel.

Victims or witnesses of such incidents are advised to promptly contact the Complaint Response Unit (CRU) via its helpline, or reach out to the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state where the event took place.

Should complaints remain unresolved, individuals can escalate the matter by contacting the Public Complaints Bureau at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on 09169967000.

The Police affirmed its commitment to public welfare and urged citizens to assist in improving service delivery by speaking out against misconduct.
