New Wave of Hiring Hits Kwara Health Sector

Ilorin — In a move aimed at reinforcing healthcare delivery across the state, the State of Harmony (Kwara) Government has approved the recruitment of new medical and health professionals into the civil service.

The announcement, made through the Civil Service Commission, opens opportunities for qualified Nigerians to apply for various roles within the state’s health sector.

Positions available include Medical Officers, Staff Nurses and Midwives, Pharmacists, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Medical Records Officers, and Health Attendants.

Prospective applicants must hold relevant professional certifications, including their NYSC discharge certificate, tertiary and secondary education qualifications, First School Leaving Certificate, proof of citizenship, and birth documentation.

Interested candidates are required to submit one application letter along with their CV in a brown A4-sized envelope. Submissions should be made in person at Room 6 of the Civil Service Commission, addressed to:

The Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission, PMB 1390, Ahman Patigi Road, GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The application period begins on Friday, May 9, 2025, and ends on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

The Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Hajia Kafayat Jimoh, signed the official notice. 

This recruitment is expected to improve manpower in public health facilities across Kwara.
