In a move set to attract skilled professionals from across the country, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) has announced fresh employment opportunities across several departments within its industrial arm. The university, founded by renowned legal icon Aare Afe Babalola, is calling on experienced and qualified individuals to apply for roles in engineering, food science, accounting, marketing, and maintenance.
The recruitment drive is aimed at bolstering operations at ABUAD’s Industrial Park, an integral part of the university’s development plan in Ado-Ekiti. The available roles cut across technical and administrative functions, each with clearly defined academic and professional requirements.
Open Positions and Requirements
Factory Manager
Candidates must hold an HND or B.Sc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering, with no less than 3 to 4 years of experience in a food processing setting.
Food Science and Technologist
Applicants are expected to possess an HND or B.Sc in Food Science and Technology, alongside 3 to 4 years of relevant work in the food processing industry.
Maintenance Officer
Individuals applying for this role should have a Trade Test qualification in Plumbing and Electrical, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar job.
For the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) position, a minimum of OND in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience is required.
Marketing Officer
This position is open to holders of HND or B.Sc degrees in any Social or Management Science discipline. Candidates must have 3 to 4 years of work experience in marketing or purchasing and be capable of meeting set targets.
Account Officer
Applicants must have an HND or B.Sc in Accounting, 3 to 4 years of relevant experience, and a solid grasp of Tally ERP accounting software.
