Hon. Ajose Peter Kumayon, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate for Olorunda Local Council Development Area, has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Olatunji Ogabi, the Oyikilu I, Ajagun of Imeke Awori Kingdom, on the occasion of his 10th coronation anniversary.

In a statement personally signed by Hon. Kumayon, he described the monarch’s decade on the throne as one distinguished by stability, unity, and steady advancement in Imeke. 

He noted that Oba Ogabi’s reign has brought meaningful development to the kingdom, driven by purposeful leadership and an unwavering focus on the people’s welfare.

“Your Majesty, Kabiyesi Oye A Mori o. I celebrate your grace, foresight and dedication to the progress of Imeke land.

“May your reign continue to bring peace, and may your legacy inspire generations yet to come,” the statement read.

Oba (Dr) Ogabi ascended the throne in 2015 and has since become a symbol of cohesion and progress across the Awori axis, earning admiration for his dignified approach to leadership and community upliftment.

Report has it that, His Royal Majesty (HRM) Oba (Dr.) Abraham Olatunji Adebowale Ogabi (JP), Oyikilu I, Ajagun of Imeke Awori Kingdom, last Saturday held a press conference at his palace where he detailed the extensive program lined up for the celebrations, which include traditional performances, the Onimeke Marathon, youth and community days for both Muslim and Christian groups, a novelty football match, and the grand finale on May 27 featuring a live performance by renowned musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1). The festivities promise a vibrant atmosphere with food, drinks, and cultural showcases.
