The arrests were carried out following credible intelligence linking the suspects to a network of online criminal activities. The operation, which was part of ongoing efforts to curb cybercrime across the country, yielded several items believed to have been used in the alleged offences.

Among the items recovered during the raid were 64 mobile phones, four laptop computers, one iPad, and five motorcycles.

A source within the EFCC disclosed that the suspects are currently undergoing further interrogation and would be charged to the court upon the conclusion of investigations.

The commission reaffirmed its commitment to ridding the nation of cybercrime and other forms of financial misconduct, urging members of the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
