Deployed from 16th October 2023 to 14th June 2025, the 15 officers were reassigned to the AUSSOM Police and Mission Headquarters in Mogadishu to handle administrative and command responsibilities under the NFPU-12 Command Element. Among them are CSP Shehu Gani Ahmed, SP Abraham Akhojie, SP Olivia Ugochukwu, SP Aliyu Makwa, DSP Jack Prince, DSP Odey Kingsley Lukpata, IP Nwite Sunday, and Sgt Ayeni Richard.

Though initially trained for tactical field duties, the officers adapted quickly to individual policing assignments and administrative work. Their prompt adjustment, attention to detail, and work ethic were described as crucial to the ongoing stabilization efforts during a sensitive phase of the mission.

IGP Egbetokun, in his remarks, described the officers as worthy representatives of the Nigeria Police Force, encouraging them to remain steadfast in upholding professional standards and commitment to peacekeeping duties.

He reiterated the Force’s support for international peace efforts and the advancement of global security through strategic partnerships.
