In a message released shortly after the final in Rabat, the President commended the team’s resilience and composure in overcoming a determined Moroccan side, backed by an energetic home crowd.
“The Super Falcons’ spectacular performance tonight in Rabat, coming from behind to beat a spirited Moroccan side playing in front of a passionate home crowd, exemplifies the determination that defines the Nigerian spirit,” President Tinubu said.
The President described the win as a reward for the team’s discipline and perseverance, acknowledging their efforts in bringing pride to the nation.
