According to Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Aiyedatiwa made the remarks during an unscheduled inspection of the construction site on Saturday. He commended both the quality and pace of the work being executed.

The Governor was accompanied by Engr. Abiola Olawoye, Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, as he toured the site situated within the High Court Complex.

Prince Adeniyan revealed that the project, named after the late former Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, commenced on December 27, 2024, and is expected to be completed within 48 weeks.

The facility will feature a ceremonial court, modular courtrooms, a registry, a library, exhibition spaces, utility structures, and modern parking facilities. It is designed to significantly improve the delivery of justice in Ondo State by providing a conducive environment for judicial activities.

Speaking at the site, Governor Aiyedatiwa lauded the contractors for their dedication to quality and staying on schedule.

“I’m impressed with the speed and standard of work. From what I’ve seen today, there is every indication that the complex will be ready within the expected timeframe,” the governor said.

He also mentioned that he has been receiving consistent updates from his special adviser, assuring that the project remains within budget and on track.

Prince Adeniyan added that the Governor’s inspection followed his attendance at a session of the Ondo State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, also held within the High Court Complex.
