The officers, ranging from the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police and above, are currently appearing before the Force Disciplinary Committee (FDC) at the IGP Smart Conference Hall, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi. The committee began its sitting on Monday, July 14, and is expected to continue until Friday, July 25, 2025.

The disciplinary panel was convened to assess allegations of misconduct, ethical breaches, and violations of police codes of conduct by senior officers drawn from commands across the country. The outcome of the review process will be forwarded to the Police Service Commission for final decisions.

Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, reiterated his commitment to enforcing discipline and accountability at all levels of the Force. He stressed that unethical behavior will not be tolerated under his leadership.

The disciplinary process, according to the statement, reflects the Force’s drive to restore public confidence and uphold professional standards from within its ranks.
