Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker, Adebo Ogundoyin, has pledged continued support for young creatives as comedian Cute Abiola takes his comedy festival to Ibadan.

Ogundoyin made the commitment when Cute Abiola visited his office to formally present the Ibadan edition of the “Comedy Festival with Cute Abiola,” scheduled for September 27 at Jogor Centre.

The Speaker said their meeting provided an opportunity to discuss comedy, creativity and the entertainment industry, as well as preparations for the forthcoming show.

“Following the impressive Kwara edition, Ibadan is next, and I have no doubt that this is going to be one evening of serious laughter, good vibes and amazing entertainment,” Ogundoyin said.

He also highlighted the comedian’s creative journey, noting the potential of talent to create career opportunities beyond personal interests.

“I must commend Cute Abiola for his originality, creativity and the way he continues to turn his talent into something bigger,” he said.

Ogundoyin said the state would continue to encourage young people in the creative sector to develop their talents and pursue bigger opportunities.

“As a State, we will continue to support and encourage our young creatives to dream big, and take their talents to the next level,” the Speaker said.

Welcoming the comedian to Ibadan, Ogundoyin urged residents and entertainment enthusiasts to look forward to the September 27 show at Jogor Centre.

“Welcome to Ibadan, Cute Abiola. Let’s have some fun on September 27th @ Jogor Centre,” he said.
