The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise, directing applicants to check their status ahead of physical screening and document verification.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the Secretary to the Board, Major General A.M. Jibril (Rtd.), who said the exercise is for candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025.

The Board said applicants are expected to visit its official recruitment portal from June 15 to June 20, 2026, to confirm whether they have been shortlisted for the next stage of the exercise.

It explained that candidates should log in with the application number generated during registration. Shortlisted applicants will be required to upload their credentials and choose their preferred date and venue for the screening exercise.

The Board urged candidates to carefully comply with all instructions provided on the recruitment portal to avoid disqualification.

It also warned applicants against dealing with individuals or groups claiming to influence the recruitment process, stressing that the exercise is free of charge.

“The Board wishes to emphasize that the recruitment process is completely FREE. Hence, no FEE should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organization claiming to render assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venue, or final selection,” the statement said.

The Board advised members of the public to disregard fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorized persons purporting to act on its behalf.

“Kindly note that all official updates shall be communicated through the CDCFIB recruitment portal as well as approved official communication channels,” it stated.

The Board said it remains committed to conducting the exercise in a transparent and credible manner, guided by established recruitment procedures.
