The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the temporary suspension of its recruitment application portal due to ongoing efforts to enhance its operations.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, July 16, and signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj. Gen. AM Jibril (rtd), the agency said the portal — https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng — will reopen on Monday, July 21, 2025.

The suspension, according to the statement, is aimed at creating room for system upgrades that will accommodate the volume of submissions and improve the application process.

The board thanked Nigerian youths for their strong interest in joining the paramilitary services and assured applicants of a credible and transparent recruitment exercise.
