Governors from across Nigeria have reiterated their commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s national agenda, emphasizing unity and collaboration in driving the country forward.
The endorsement followed high-level meetings of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) held in Abuja.
During the sessions, the governors reviewed ongoing government programs, with a particular focus on economic policies and infrastructure development spearheaded by the current administration. Participants acknowledged the growing impact of the president’s efforts, highlighting the tangible improvements being observed across key sectors.
Speaking on the outcomes of the meetings, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, stressed that backing President Tinubu’s leadership transcends political lines, describing it as a responsibility to Nigeria’s collective future.
A significant moment at the PGF gathering was the official reception of the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, into the All Progressives Congress (APC). Governor Uzodimma praised the move, describing it as a strategic alignment with national priorities and a reflection of growing confidence in the ruling party’s development blueprint.
The forums served not only as a space for evaluating current progress but also as a call for sustained collaboration among state leaders in pursuit of national renewal.
