In the notice, the commission said, “The 2nd Phase of the Nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) is here,” listing first-time voters aged 18 and above, persons seeking transfer of voter registration, and those applying for replacement of lost or damaged Permanent Voter Cards as key beneficiaries.

INEC stated that the exercise will run from “5 January – 17 April 2026,” with registration scheduled daily between “9:00am – 3:00pm.”

According to the commission, registration will take place at “INEC State Head Office/ LGA Offices and other designated centres” across the country, allowing wider access for prospective and existing voters.

Emphasising civic participation, the commission added, “The future begins with those who show up.”
