The statement further assured media professionals of the Force’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe environment where they can perform their duties without fear or interference.

The statement read “On this World Press Freedom Day, the Nigeria Police Force recognizes the vital role the media plays in nation-building.

As partners in the pursuit of truth and justice, we would continue to create a safe environment where media practitioners can carry out their duties without fear or intimidation.”
