The Ondo State Civil Service Commission has announced the recruitment of legal officers into the Ministry of Justice, Alagbaka, Akure, for the position of Senior State Legal Counsel on Grade Level 10.
The announcement, issued by the Ondo State Civil Service Commission in Akure and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Omotayo Akeju, invited suitably qualified candidates to apply through the commission’s recruitment portal.
The commission stated that applicants “must be suitably qualified to practice as Solicitors and Advocates in Nigeria, with not more than two (2) years post-call cognate experience.”
It added that the online application would remain open from Monday, May 25, 2026 to Monday, June 1, 2026.
The notice listed the requirements for interested candidates, including possession of a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Call-to-Bar certificate from a recognised university.
Applicants are also expected to have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps programme where applicable and must be computer literate.
Other conditions outlined by the commission include that candidates “must not be more than forty-five (45) years of age,” and “must be physically and mentally fit.”
The commission also directed applicants to present a duly signed certificate of state of origin and submit either a birth certificate or an affidavit declaring age.
It stated that the deadline for registration is Monday, June 1, 2026.
