The All Progressives Congress (APC) will reopen its electronic membership registration nationwide on August 31, 2026, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The party announced this in a statement issued on Tuesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.

The exercise will take place across all wards in the country, with existing members required to validate their records while new and intending members can register to join the party.

The APC said registrants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

It urged party stakeholders, supporters and members, both old and new, to participate in the exercise.

The party said the electronic registration is aimed at digitising its membership register and improving the accuracy of membership records.

According to the statement, the exercise will also provide better access to membership data for planning and management decisions, promote internal democracy and strengthen the party’s commitment to democratic development in Nigeria.
